Introduction to Professional Writing and Portfolio (512)

The goal of this course is to assist students with developing the critical thinking and writing skills necessary to meet a range of anticipated writing tasks they will encounter during their academic and professional careers. Students will be introduced to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition (APA, 2019) as one of the primary texts for the course. Additionally, students will be introduced to LiveText and trained in the elements required to prepare and update their academic and professional portfolio. 3/21
