Course description: Students in this course examine licensure board standards, ethical principles, codes of ethics, legal considerations, standards of preparation, and role identity of counselors in the different specialties. Students also learn how to choose and apply codes of ethics and ethical decision-making models to every-day counseling practice and to the resolution of ethical dilemmas. 6/19
