Students will be able to demonstrate how trauma-informed art therapy interventions can promote neuroplasticity resulting in long-term neuronal changes. Students will explore the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) as a basis for learning how trauma impacts the brain and how art therapy interventions can be utilized in the multidimensional treatment of trauma.
