Comparative Theories Through an Adlerian Lens (509)

This course provides an overview of the theoretical approaches to counseling and psychotherapy by comparing and contrasting other theories to Adlerian Theory. Students are introduced to various approaches to counseling, cultural applications, and intervention strategies and techniques relevant to each theory. This course helps students apply theoretical frameworks to case conceptualization and begin developing a personal theoretical perspective and a unique model of counseling. Students begin developing an in depth understanding of Adlerian Theory. This course meets for 10 weeks. (6/20)
